Bugshan Morocco Announces a New Strategic Hotel Investment in Casablanca
Bugshan Morocco Holding, a key player in various industries in Morocco, including the automotive sector, has initiated the construction of a large-scale hotel complex in Casablanca, located on the Ain Diab Corniche. This hotel project aligns with the ongoing modernization and enhancement of this iconic area in Morocco’s economic capital, contributing to the strategic milestones the Kingdom is set to host in the coming years.
Strategically positioned with views of the Atlantic Ocean, the project aims to enhance Casablanca’s appeal as a premier destination for both business and leisure travelers. The complex will feature a 4-star hotel offering 127 rooms and suites, combining comfort, modernity, and sophistication. Construction began in December 2023, with the opening anticipated by the end of 2026.
As part of this project, Bugshan Morocco has signed a management contract with Marriott International, Inc to open a AC by Marriott hotel. . This partnership ensures a high standard of quality and excellence.
With a total investment of 300 million Moroccan dirhams (MAD), the project will create 100 direct and indirect jobs, bolstering the local economy and aligning with Morocco’s development vision. The design of the complex has been entrusted to the architectural firm Archguess, which has conceived a modern, environmentally friendly space that integrates seamlessly into its surroundings.
This initiative will contribute to Casablanca’s prominence while meeting the needs of travelers and businesses in a setting that combines quality with innovation. It is perfectly in line with Vision 2030, which aspires to invigorate Morocco’s tourism sector and provide world-class infrastructure that meets the expectations of international visitors.
This agreement was signed on behalf of Bugshan Morocco by Mr. Nasser Obada, Managing Director of Bugshan Morocco, and on behalf of Marriott International by Mr. Karim Ouaziz, Director of Development for Marriott in North Africa.
