Crédit du Maroc and Mastercard join forces to help advance digital transformation in Morocco



Crédit du Maroc and Mastercard signed a strategic partnership agreement, to bring new technologies to the market, help to advance the bank’s digital transformation, and provide personalized solutions to its customers.

This partnership reaffirms Crédit du Maroc's commitment to meeting the daily financial needs of Moroccans and strengthening its positioning as an innovative player in the banking sector.

Morocco is making great progress to boost financial inclusion with a focus on households, micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs), women, youth and rural populations. According to World Bank data, the number of Moroccans with access to a bank account increased from 29% in 2017 to 44% in 2023. Digital financial services have emerged as a key enabler of this progress. 

The partnership will support the introduction of innovative financial services in Morocco and contribute in advancing digital transformation efforts in the Kingdom.
