The Attijariwafa bank Foundation organizes the visual arts exhibition #Imaginetaville



With the aim of promoting access to digital and urban arts to the public, the Attijariwafa bank Foundation is organising an exhibition of the best artworks from its visual arts competition #Imaginetaville, at the Actua art space* from 24th May to 30th June 2023.

More than 200 candidates from all over the country took part of the #Imaginetaville competition. Among them, 21 exhibitors, including 6 winners and 3 special mentions selected by a jury of professionals.

The #Imaginetaville competition was an opportunity to reveal a new generation of artists and visual arts enthusiasts, very much involved in the new languages of digital creation, performance and virtual reality environments.

The Attijariwafa bank Foundation is supporting the winners by providing them support for the production of their creations, a privileged space to exhibit their artworks and encouraging prizes. The aim is to highlight the vitality and richness of the Moroccan art scene, by promoting the most prominent contemporary artistic practices among young people.

The winners will benefit from high media visibility and will display their artistic creations to the public. Creations with a wide range of visions, whether they are full of hope for a connected and futuristic city, or linked to the past and socio-demographic realities.

Moreover, the jury of this edition was distinguished by the quality of its members, namely Ms. Hayat ZIRARI, anthropologist, teacher-researcher at Hassan II University; Mr. Abderrahim KASSOU, architect, urban planner and former President of the « Casa Mémoire » association; Mr. Abdelmajid SEDDATI, video art professor and Artistic Director of the Casablanca International Video Art Festival and finally, Ms. Ghitha TRIKI, in charge of the Art & Culture Department of the Attijariwafa bank Foundation, curator of the #Imaginetaville exhibition.
