Huawei OptiX Club was successfully held in Casablanca, Morocco, attracting local industry experts, partners, and leaders to exchange opinions on innovative F5G (the fifth-generation fixed network defined by ETSI) technologies and success cases in digital and intelligent industry transformation. During the event, Huawei showcased E2E all-scenario all-optical solutions, covering scenarios such as the national backbone network, industry production network, campus networks for office, healthcare, education, and hotel, and perimeter inspection sensing network. Huawei also released a series of new products for Morocco, including E2E OSU, 50G POL, MiniFTTO, and perimeter inspection solution. "Morocco's digital infrastructure is developing rapidly," said Nathalie Wang, GM of Huawei Morocco Enterprise Business Dept. "As the foundation of digital and intelligent development, F5G network technology can help expand the scope of digital services, accelerate comprehensive digital transformation, and improve the efficiency and quality of public services and various industries, thereby promoting the development of a green and digital economy in Morocco." Marcus Brunner, ETSI ISG F5G liaison officer, introduced the latest progress of the F5G industry, noting that optical fibers are the most efficient and environmental-friendly optical communication media and can therefore help industries achieve their green and digital transformation goals. He also mentioned that, in the future, F5G Advanced network will be further improved in bandwidth, latency, coverage, green development, intelligence, sensing, visibility, and elasticity, promoting the green and digital transformation in the industry. "The focus of F5G evolution will be on exploring and innovating industry application scenarios, as well as unleashing digital productivity in the industry," said Jerry Ji, Director of Northern Africa Enterprise Optical. "We will continue to focus on industry digitalization in Morocco. Based on technological innovation and industry digital transformation best practices, we will develop more reliable, green, and efficient all-optical network solutions, promoting the wide and in-depth application of F5G technological innovations in all industries." FullyUpgrading the F5G Intelligent OptiX Network for Four Scenarios Along with the evolution of F5G, Huawei's F5G Intelligent OptiX Network is fully upgraded in scenarios including WAN production network, campus network, small and micro campus network, and industry sensing, thereby boostingMorocco's digital transformation. WAN production network: Huawei released Morocco's first E2E OSU product portfolio, which is used to build a highly-reliable and continuously-evolving production network for power supply and transportation. The new network features four capabilities: It fully inherits SDH services, provides E2E OSU native hard pipes (NHPs) from backbone to access to ensure production security, breaks the SDH bandwidth limit with 96 Tbit/s per fiber to satisfy the growing bandwidth requirements of digital services, and provides unified network management to simplify O&M. Campus network: Huawei launched the industry's first 50G POL prototype for building the next-generation campus network using Wi-Fi 7. The new products not only satisfy user requirements in the Wi-Fi 6 era, but also leverage industry-leading 50G PON optical modules and algorithms to support future Wi-Fi 7 deployment with no need to replace existing OLT, ODN, and ONU devices. Small and micro campus network: Huawei'sMiniFTTO solution provides premium network services for micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises. The MiniFTTO solution features simple networking, optimal experience, easy deployment and maintenance, as well as plug-and-play and configuration-free deployment. Industry sensing scenario: Extending from pipeline inspection to perimeter inspection, Huawei OptiXsense EF3000, based on Huawei's innovative oDSP and sensing algorithms, achieves zero false negatives and few false positives, improves inspection accuracy, and reduces the occurrence of unauthorized intrusions, thereby ensuring the security of railways, airports, and large campuses. SmartOffice: HUAWEI IdeaHub, as a productivity tool for the smart office, it bundles intelligent writing, High Definition (HD) video conferencing and wireless sharing. It fits into any environment, effortlessly transforming meeting rooms, executive offices, and open areas into smart spaces. Huawei's optical solutions have been widely applied in many industries in Morocco. In the future, Huawei will continue to innovate around F5G evolution, develop leading products and solutions, and work with customers and partners to help Morocco develop a green digital economy. Â
