Kyme presents the new 2023 collection at Silmo Paris: twenty-one new models including sun and optical glasses.
The Apulian brand - 100% Made in Italy –want to tell something about his country, starting from Puglia and its capital Bari. Further on, the same campaign will go through different stages around our beautiful country in search of amazing landscapes, glimpses and characters that can fully represent its contemporary vintage soul.
The historic center alleys of the Apulian capital pay homage to the origins of the brand with the faces that inspired the birth of the new Kyme collection, characterized by a palette of colors inspired by Mediterranean tones, from which the designers drew with flat hands , for a choice, in absolute contrast with the period, which means hope.
The sun models are rounded and soft in oversized shapes and they are inspired by the most iconic ones in the history of eyewear. Above all, "Atena" and "Aura" represent the strong character of the sun collection with strong shapes and important thicknesses and colors. "Argo", "Jorges" and "Evan" complete the proposal of the oversizeglasses, which is flanked by typically vintage shapes such as the drop, the wayfarer but with completely revisited, super thin thicknesses, to give the best comfort and a perfectly unisex fit.
The optical collection is divided into five families, all perfectly consistent with the brand's contemporary vintage style, all in Mazzucchelli cellulose acetate made in Italy and perfect for embracing a heterogeneous audience. The “Basic” Family consists of classic shapes in acetate, all perfectly genderless, the “Bold” family despite of his considerable thicknesses has a comfortable fit and is made by bonding sand embellishments on the fronts and temples. The “Classic” familyis made by metal with rimless acetate headbands with nylon to support the lens; while the “Hard acetate” is made by a special acetate patented by Mazzucchelli that offers incredible flexibility and the possibility of obtaining very thin and light frames to finish with oversize, perfect for those who want to highlight their personality.
