Lagare.ma raises 2 Million Dirhams to accelerate internationally.


The Lagare.ma platform has just raised 2 million Dirhams. A first call for investment that allows the young company to expand its offer is to improve its solution.

Lagare.ma has just announced a 2 Million Dirhams fundraising with an international group specialized in private equity.

Founded in 2014 by the young Issam Darui, Lagare.ma is today the first electronic bus station in Morocco with more than 10 000 departures every day in all directions within the kingdom to more than 150 destinations, and abroad to 7 European countries, and accessible in 10 languages and 25 currencies. The company currently has 5 employees. Its ambition is to offer a simple, reliable and economical solution to passengers, and to become the best platform to buy bus tickets in Morocco and Africa.

Issam Darui, a 23-year-old native from Oujda, succeeded in raising the Moroccan flag in Mauritius after winning the "Outstanding Young African Entrepreneur of the Year" award during the 2017 African Awards for Entrepreneurship. A few months ago I found myself in Mauritius in front of a panel of investors, I had a really memorable experience and very similar to a TV show called Shark Tank... 30 seconds was enough to attract the investor's attention, and after 2 days of meetings, I raised 2 Million dirhams funds for my startup" concludes Issam with a lot of emotions. 

Lagare.ma will use this investment to accelerate its strong growth and begin its expansion in countries where access to the transport network can be improved. Tunisia, Cameroon, Egypt and other African countries are in particular are in Lagare.ma target.
