Rixos Premium Dubai's Staff Members Conducted a Massive Clean-Up as part of World Clean Up Day



World Cleanup Day unites millions of volunteers, governments, and organisations in 191 countries to tackle the global waste problem and build a sustainable world. This year, as part of World Clean Up Day 2022, the Talent & Culture Team at Rixos Premium Dubai organized a clean-up of the Al Satwa Area.

Over 20 staff members from Rixos Premium Dubai removed more than 50KG of trash from Al Satwa to show their commitment to doing their part for the betterment of the community. Mr. Nasir Yousaf Ali from Dubai Municipality Officer, attended the initiative overseeing the team's efforts, organized by the Talent & Culture and Quality and Hygiene Team of the hotel.

"Rixos Premium Dubai is ever aware of its corporate social responsibilities and this initiative is another example of our efforts to do our bit for the environment. We are constantly looking for new ways to have a positive impact on the city and the world at large, and this clean-up effort is just one of several planned activities in our schedule," said Ms. Zhamilya Tazhibayeva from the hotel's Talent & Culture Department. 

Rixos Premium Dubai continues its efforts in the environmental and sustainability space by similar internal and external initiatives, encouraging individual and team participation to discard waste. With more planned initiatives for the coming months such as Breast Cancer Awareness month and the Dubai Fitness Challenge, Rixos Premium Dubai will be continuing their social responsibility for the benefit of their staff and the city as a whole.
