Corteva Agriscience , Agriculture Division of DowDuPont , Chooses Casablanca as Hub for North-West & West Central Africa (NWAF & WCAF)


Morocco, Feb. 14, 2019 — Today, Corteva Agriscience™, Agriculture Division of DowDuPont, launches its official North-West & West Central Africa (NWAF & WCAF) regional headquarters in Casablanca, Morocco. The Casablanca office will act as Corteva Agriscience’s business center for customers, partners and consumers in its main markets namely

Algeria, Benin, Burkina Faso, Cameroun, Ghana, Ivory Coast, Mali, Morocco, Nigeria, Niger, Tunisia, Togo and Senegal, bringing the organization’s the right mix of seeds, crop protection and digital solutions to maximize their yields and improve their profitability in these markets.

This development brings the number of Corteva Agriscience ™ offices on the African continent to four, with other offices being operational in Cairo, Johannesburg, Nairobi and now Morocco.

Corteva Agriscience™ has developed some of the best talent, technology, innovation and R&D capabilities that will uniquely position it to transform our food system by helping farmers grow better, abundant and healthier crops while using less natural resources. The NWAF & WCAF commercial area currently serves cocoa, cotton, rice and corn, banana, vegetables tea and cereal markets.

The commercial area will be managed by industry veteran Alain Pescay, who will bring a wealth of experience and will be supported by local talent and experts who are knowledgeable about the region's food security needs and farmers' needs.
