Hotel indigo dubai downtown partners with kristel bechara for a one-of-a-kind art exhibition
Hotel Indigo Dubai Downtown announced the launch of a one-of-a-kind exhibition with award winning female contemporary artist Kristel Bechara. The exclusive showcase includes large-scale acrylic painting besides fragments that will be displayed as 25 limited edition digital prints and sold along with NFTs. From the December 8, 2022 to January 31, 2023, guests will be able to engage with the spectacular art displayed.
“With my collaboration with Hotel Indigo, I am incredibly happy to see my creative vision align perfectly with the ethos and design of the hotel, which is evident in The Voyageur, my new art series that will be showcased in the hotel. Being renowned for its eclectic selection of original art, design and installations, I was confident that my collaboration with Hotel Indigo would be a creatively rewarding endeavour. Being a Dubai-based artist who celebrates the city’s uniqueness and individuality, the art series was partially inspired by Hotel Indigo’s aim to distinguish itself by highlighting a modern and contemporary view of Dubai through the hotel’s interior design and art display.” Said the Lebanese born artist Kristel Bechara.
“The artworks of The Voyageur encapsulate the spirit of the adventurous traveller, who lives beyond the fear of the unknown and navigates fantastical places that exist in realms of their own. In the series, I bring together elements of the past and the future, the classic and the modern – similar to the aesthetics of Hotel Indigo. With this collaboration, visitors will not only get an introspective art experience with the Voyageur, but they will also find themselves unburdened by restrictions and free to explore destinations undiscovered and experience sights yet unseen.” Added Kristel Bechara.
Lebanon-born Kristel Bechara has quickly established herself as the rising star of the Middle East and is known for her unique style and use of dynamic patterns and expressive colours. Kristel's work has been displayed around the world in galleries from Tokyo, Milano, Brussels, and France.
Located in the heart of Downtown, Hotel Indigo Dubai Downtown is an art lovers' paradise that is an amalgamation of old and new.
